I met Eldonna at the First California Women Veterans Stand Down in Long Beach CA and knew immediately that we needed her to speak at our 7th Annual Women’s Conference in Los Angeles. Today, I thought about Eldonna Lewis Fernandez and how I like, learn, and am inspired by her. I always think triple P -- Powerful Pink Person. She is a dynamic, inspirational, selfless, and giving woman that always wears pink. She will bend to please people, yet if you push her too far, she will draw from her military past and unleash the commander on you to get you back on track. She is tenacious on reaching goals, and always keeps it in mind all while being dynamic to get there. "Winging It" is not in her vocabulary, but Mastery is, which is how she was able to get a class full of Frontier Trainings members to cry and become patriotic when she delivered her showcase presentation at a training (keeping in mind that one of the members is not from the USA). Inspiration is her power. Drawing from her tough past, she wields this power of inspiration like a wizard with a ball of energy. It is with grace, beauty, and one hell of a bang.
